Maria is a 4 bedroom, air-conditioned, detached villa with
private pool located in an elevated position overlooking the
port of La Duquesa and offering panoramic views of the
Mediterranean. The villa and garden overlook the 11th fairway
of La Duquesa golf course. It is within easy reach of the
leisure port and adjoining beach. There are many restaurants
and bars in the port area and miles of uncrowded sandy beaches
in the area. The La Duquesa, 18 hole championship golf course
with its luxurious clubhouse and facilities is on the
doorstep. The various other 'world class' golf courses are
within easy reach, e.g., Valderama 10 mins, Sotogrande 10 mins,
San Roque and Alcaidesa 15 mins, Estepona 10 mins.
ACCOMMODATION:
The villa is approx 250 sq.m built on approx. 800 sq.m plot.
It consists of 2 stories plus a basement and has a garage.
There are marble floors throughout including bathrooms and
wardrobes. The basement bedroom has terracotta tiles. The
living room and 3 bedrooms all have beautiful views of the
Mediterranean. The villa is air-conditioned throughout. Piped
water in the villa is processed through a water softening
system. 4 Bedrooms with en-suite bathroom to master bedroom.
All bedrooms have built-in wardrobes.

garage is accessed from a private roadway which has security
control at the entrance.
 COAST/BEACH:
Within easy reach (between 5 - 12 minute walk).
AIRPORT: 55 minutes (Malaga) or 25 minutes (Gibraltar).
FURTHER DETAILS: Puerto de la Duquesa is a truly
beautiful location on the Costa del Sol, 10km west of Estepona
and 25 minutes from Marbella. The port of La Duquesa itself
offers full berthing facilities, both short and long term. The
golf and country club offers many facilities including tennis,
squash and a gym with a qualified resident trainer.
Gibraltar (25 mins) with its rock and Barbary Apes lies west
of Puerto de la Duquesa and is certainly worth a visit.
Tarifa (45 mins west), a famous windsurfing location has
extensive golden beaches. The coastal drive to Tarifa offers
the most spectacular views of the Straits of Gibraltar and
Africa.
Ronda (45 mins inland) is a well known historical city on the
'white villages' route. It has a spectacular bridge over a
deep gorge and many beautiful buildings and monuments. The
mountain routes from and to La Duquesa are spectacular.
Casares (10 mins east) with its medieval castle is a beautiful
Andalusian hilltop village.
Estepona (10 - 15 mins east) is another beautiful coastal town
with a high quality Equestrian Centre and riding school. It
also boasts another sporting challenge at Estepona Golf.
Puerto Banus (20 mins east) is a world famous resort and
leisure port sporting the most exotic cars and luxury yachts.
Designer stores such as Versace, Armani and Donna Karen are
all close at hand.
 Marbella
(25 mins east) is the centre of Cosmopolitan Life for the
"jet-set" and offers a wide variety of night life and shopping
experiences, e.g., upmarket El Corte Inglés. Old Marbella has
a wide variety of small shops and chic boutiques lining the
cobble stoned streets.
Mijas "white village" located 8km off the coast is steeped in
history dating back to Roman times. With ancient walls,
picturesque little squares, winding lanes lined with
restaurants and arts and crafts artisan shops, Mijas has a
truly charming ambiance.
