We went into Marbella this week on a wonderfully warm sunny early April day and after some light tapas, took a stroll through the narrow streets of the old town of Marbella. Here you will find many wonderful shops selling everything and anything, from ladies fashion, quality leather goods, to trinkets to take home as gifts as well as many little bars hidden away. We definitely recommend spending an afternoon losing yourself amongst the maze of tiny streets! There is certainly plenty to see.
At the heart of the old town is Orange Square which dates all the way back to 1485. The square is filled with orange trees and surrounded by excellent restaurants. A wonderful place to sit for a while enjoying the buzz of old town Marbella.
From there, just fifteen minutes walk away, you can be sunbathing on the beach or enjoying the huge array of restaurants and bars along the Marbella beach paseo!
Here are just a few pictures we took that day.
