The Torremolinos town budget for 2015 will include 1.5 million Euros for the completion of the municipal museum that was originally due to open in 2011. With local authorities not providing more information at the moment, it seems like the museum will most likely be the same as originally planned.
Last year it was said that the centre would be called the museum of Fine Arts, History and Popular Traditions of Torremolinos. The site is located in Plaza Picasso and spread over four floors. The Museum will tell the story of Torremolinos and will contain archaeological remains as well as historical documents and photographs of the town.
